The salve was an offshoot from making the pinon pine tinctures. I wanted to put similiar healing properties into a salve, which I had added to the tincture, especially, of course, the pinon pine needles which are anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral. I also added soothing and healing and softening ingredients to make it good for all over enrichment for the skin. I believe it is also protective. I use it on my face, lips, legs, arms, feet–especially chest and neck.
Ingredients: Pine Needles, organic olive oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, castor oil, orange and pine essential oils, osha or pine needle tincture (as perservative).
