How Do I Make A Flower Essence
I look for the “best” flower in my garden. This means in a physical sense–the prettiest, freshest, newest–but also energetically, which flower wants to be picked! I take the fresh flower from my garden or a wildflower (taken at least 300 feet from road and in an area that is not sprayed) and gently place it into a half cup of spring or filtered water. The flower and water is then set into the sunlight (it can’t be cloud or overcast) for four hours. It is the unique synergistic interplay between the flower, the sun and the water which creats the essence! I add one half cup of brandy to preserve the essence. This is your mother essence. The mother essence is put into the stock bottle and it is from the stock that The dosage amounts are bottled into the beautiful emerald green Bethesda Star bottles.

The same flowers in the sun for almost five hours. now. I added a St. John’s wort smudge stick, a crystal, and a feather to the flower “alter” to honor the flowers.

How do they work?
Flowers essences heal on the energetic level. This means they heal the spiritual energies around our body, mind, and heart. Nothing exists on the physical level unless it is first manifested on the spiritual (unseen). In other words, the unseen world (energies) hold the blueprint and are the origin of all of our physical realities–good and bad. If you have discord or disease and begin to heal on the spiritual level, chances are the dis-ease may not reach your physical body or if it has already reached our bodies, we may be able to reverse the problem.
How do you take Flower Essences?
Take four drops as needed under the tongue, in your bath, or on your body (I often put them on my third eye chakra or heart chakra). Try to keep the dropper clean by not allowing contact with mouth or skin. Intuition is helpful in considering the number of times per day you take the four drops. A recommended amountis three to four times per day.
When I’m working on a book or other long writing project I will take Purple Aster two or three times a day. I tend to get overly critical of myself so the defination of Purple Aster explains why this works so well. “Emotionally healthy interaction with our creative projects. A loosening of fear around creativity. Keep it simple. All is in perfect alignment”.

The soul always understands what is best for us moment to moment and may help you choose your flower essence. Hold the pendulum above each essence name, one at a time, until you get a very strong “yes”.
Generally speaking, when the pendulum moves in a circle clockwise it is a “yes” and when it travels back and forth in a straight line it is a “no”.
But ask your pendulum to show you a “yes” and then a “no” so you are sure as many people have different methods. Use what feels right for you!
