I was born in January (a double Capricorn) in a small hospital in Middleborough, Massachusetts. A Capricorn is an earth sign which means I am very connected to Mother Earth!
Love as the most powerful force in the universe was one of my first teachings as a healer and as a flower essence practitioner.
As a child I was raised (mostly) alone with my father (who was a businessman) and an old nanny he hired. I survived by making nature my world. Indian Head River

As a child, during the day I played in the apple tree in my backyard, or in a small pine forest called Bunny Woods, or on the banks of Indian Head River in Hanover. I also rode a beautiful half wild Appaloosa stallion named Misty up and down the many riding trails and through the center of the shallow runs of Indian River.
The trees and the rocks and the flowers and the river spoke to me telepathically and I could feel their love! I new this was real power–love–not the kind of power we see in society.. It was then that I learned about the healing medicine that exists in flowers and trees and other natural Beings.
It is from these early childhood experiences that taught me how to communicate with nature. I did not know as a child I was speaking to the flower devas, but now I know. The oversoul of the plant of the flower is who relays the messages to the flower practitioner and how we understand what healing gift in contained in the flower and how to prescribe the flower essences.
These roses rested in the clear water under the sun for four hours..
I was also born a natural shaman although I also did a formal study with various teachers on the east coast–Maine and Massachusetts primarily and in Boulder, Colorado and Santa Fe, NM. Additionally I did a Master’s Thesis on Shamanism for Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. The thesis can be read on my other site BethesdaStar.com.

I am also a writer, a Reiki Master and a certified herbalist. I was the manager of a small herbal store in Santa FE, NM for four years. I have a lot of experience!
This is the beautiful rose I used to make the essence.
One night, about ten years ago, Spirit/Creator whispered “Bethesda” into my ear. I have since learned it means “healing pool of water”. I have taken this to be my spiritual name.
